Spring Flower Cookies
I've been having fun decorating little cookies, like these mini chocolate flowers. White with colored centers here...
And all the colors in different combinations.
All together they make a pretty and yummy plate of cookies perfect for spring and Easter.
They coordinate with my Easter Eggs & Easter Bunnies!
Easter Bunny Cookies
I love this bunny shape and used it last year on these chocolate Easter cookies. This year I wanted to add a little something more and am very happy with the ribbons. I used the same colors I used on my Easter egg cookies.
I think this is the first time I've used this cookie cutter, even though I've had it for years. I think my favorite part is the ears. The pink one above has an extra back leg detail that I thought was distracting, so I made the rest simpler.
Here is the pink bunny matching her friends. Now at the head of the line!
Hop on over to The Ginger Cookie to see these and more Easter Bunny cookies!
Easter Egg Cookies
I made a few sugar cookie eggs for Easter. I love this color palette!
I also made chocolate egg cookies.
One of my favorite things about decorating cookies is creating variations as I decorate.
The cookie eggs have been decorated, now it's time to decorate the real eggs!
Visit me over at The Ginger Cookie to see my recent Easter cookies together in one post, and some Easter egg cookies from the archives, circa 2008.

Little Heart Cookies
Ginger birthday cookies for Cousin Cadence.
Here's the other side.
Little sugar cookie hearts inspired by the colors from the baby shower elephants.
Nina's Cookie Shop received a request for decorated chocolate chip cookies. Luckily Sugarbelle recently posted this great recipe!
I hope you all had a sweet Valentine's Day!

Santa Cookies
I wanted to make Santa cookies using the same style of hats I've been using on my snowmen.
I'd been looking at my 8/snowman cutter and cookies, formulating a plan. But he needed feet.
Thanks to a lot of inspiration from posts around the cookie blog world about piecing together parts from more than one cookie cutter, I looked at this fish...
And found feet!
Santa is ready to bake.
HO, HO, HO! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Fish Cookies
Nina's Cookie Shop recently made these cookies for a holiday party/birthday party. The birthday boy loves to fish!
A festive wreathed green fish.
A ribbon-tied gold fish.
Holly leaves,
Presents,
And a wreath accompanied the fish for the party. This wreath is a simplified version of my first proposed design. I like this one a lot!
The party guests were treated to little bundles of cookies to take home.
Happy Birthday, Royce!
Snowman Cookies
I have a couple of snowman cookie cutters but was looking for a simple one.
When I saw this cookie cutter in the store I thought it was perfect! It was hanging on the wall and I looked around it to see what other holiday cookie cutters there were. Instead of seeing cookie cutters in the shapes of snowflakes and Christmas trees, I saw the numbers 7 and 9. Oh, it's the number 8! But still a perfect snowman for what I wanted to do!

This one has a different hat and it looks like he might have a tummy ache!
I didn't intend for this one's mittens to be giving the thumbs up sign, but I'm glad he likes how I made him!
